This program will examine all of the recent changes to standards and new initiatives that OSHA has put in place under the Biden administration. Specifically, it will look at OSHA’s focus on recordkeeping, Severe Violators Enforcement Program, temporary employees, as well as the new enforcement strategy being utilized by OSHA. This interactive and comprehensive presentation will offer attendees an in depth practical examination of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and how it and the Secretary of Labor’s right to enforce the Act may potentially affect a company or business. Attendees will provide step-by-step discussions of the legal process implicated when OSHA arrives for an inspection, how to define the scope of the inspection, and how to push back when OSHA is being unreasonable.
