According to a survey done by Payscale.com, HR professionals who are certified make substantially than their non-certified counterparts. While the difference is less noticeable in more junior levels, as you move up the HR food chain the difference becomes much more apparent. According to Payscale’s survey, the median pay for a certified HR professionals was $63,900 while those without certification made around $45,300—a difference of nearly $20,000! While the numbers vary across different industries and parts of the country, on average the certification pays off.

Course Objectives:

Certification is definitely worth it but before you go down the path of certification, understand that like most things we want, there are sacrifices. First, you’ll spend money on study materials-maybe even pay for a prep course at a local community college. Second, the test itself costs money and if you fail they don’t give you a free retry!

Third, you will sacrifice your time studying. Furthermore, each Saturday you should dedicate for 5-6 hours reading the materials in the different modules and taking practice tests.

Signup Training brings you the the most convenient way to help you with PHR/SPHR Exam Preparation. This intensive 8 hour session will offer the modern HR practitioner a review of the exam content topics, test taking skills (specific to the methodology used to create the test) and instructor/student collaboration to discuss best practices for certification success! Join us to take the next step in your HR career path!
